The Bartholomew Consort will be giving a concert in St Michael & All Angels, Bath Road, London W4 1TT starting at 7.45pm. 

Musical Director JanJoost van Elburg has devised a programme contrasting  Renaissance composers of Venice and Rome, using examples of sacred and secular music.  Enjoy glorious Monteverdi madrigals together withLamento della Ninfa sung by soprano Esther Levin, the brilliant polyphonic ( four choir!)  Missa ad te clamamus by Stradella, a Magnificat  by Bencini as well as Palestrina's  Salve Regina.  The consort will be accompanied by a band of professional period instrumentalists on Chamber Organ, Gamba/cello, Bass, Violins and Theorbo.
